The British Army saying “Prior Planning and Preparation Prevents Poor Performance” appears to have been rigidly put into practice by army veteran Lee and his wife Sarah when they finally decided on the Horto Garden Room for their York home.
Having spent nearly 3 years meticulously planning and preparing, the couple decided on the local, family business Horto to build their garden room. Lee says “we absolutely love our garden room and we’re totally sure we made the right choice going with Horto”. Lee adds “We did a lot of research, spoke to and visited numerous garden room company showrooms, but finally we decided on Horto to build the perfect garden room we had always wanted, imagined and planned for”.
“Planning a garden room can be quite a daunting task”, says Ellen Robinson from Horto, “but we try our best to support and guide our customers through each individual step of the process; from the initial enquiry to the completed garden room that is designed and built exactly to their taste and specific needs”. Ellen adds “what most of our customers have in common is the need for more space, an intended use, a good sized garden and importantly share our passion for high quality and exacting standards”.
Garden rooms have recently soared in popularity since working from home is now a permanent fixture for many people looking for ways to achieve the peace and quiet needed for productive home working. However, Lee has been working from home for years and says “working from home of course has its benefits, but it does have drawbacks though when having to work and relax in the same space. Lee adds “This is where our Horto garden room comes in. Not only does it give me the additional space that is physically separated from the home in which I can work more effectively, it allows us both to spend more time in our garden and appreciate it properly. With this setup we have the best of both worlds”.
