Horto Everyday Spaces is a family-run construction business, creating bespoke garden rooms for customers in the Harrogate district and across Yorkshire. With more than 40 years’ experience in the building industry, we are confident we provide our clients with the very best customer service through our dedicated and professional approach.
Meet Gary
Gary Robinson, Company Director of Horto, started out as an apprentice joiner, working his way up to Senior Site Manager with some of the country’s leading construction and house building companies.
During this time, he was awarded Site Manager of the Year, Safe Site, Considerate Constructor, Development Team of the Year and several NHBC Top 100 Awards. He has also gained a qualification with the Chartered Institute of Building.
There is nothing Gary doesn’t know about creating outdoor everyday spaces and his craftmanship and talent is evident in the wide range of bespoke garden rooms featured in our gallery.
Meet Ellen
Ellen Robinson, joint Company Director of Horto, has been married to Gary for 35 years. She started work in a small building company in Belfast where she met Gary.
Following a move to Yorkshire, and the arrival of their two daughters, Ellen has spent most of her life working in Leeds. In 2016, Ellen started working with Gary carrying out administration duties for their bespoke garden room business.
Many years later, and they are still successfully running the business as a husband-and-wife team. As such, Ellen and Gary can offer their clients a truly personal service touching upon their own life experiences as a busy, working family.
